In the coming months, other training courses will be given to raise awareness of the actions of the European Seal of Human Resources in Research (HRS4R) that the IBSAL has launched as part of its commitment to excellence in the management of research personnel.
Next Wednesday, November 6 at 13.00 will take place the first of the online seminars and workshops that IBSAL plans to carry out as part of the information, training and awareness actions carried out in the framework of the European Seal of Excellence for Human Resources in Research (HRS4R), European accreditation to be renewed in December 2024, after five years of work and implementation of measures aimed at maintaining excellence in the management of human resources in research.
This first seminar will address the implications of accreditation for organizations and the benefits for researchers, as well as the specific actions that the IBSAL has implemented. Raquel Carnicero, Director of Management of IBSAL, will explain the steps taken so far and the measures implemented through the Action Plan; and Lorena Muñoz, CEO of Effectia, will explain the principles and approaches of the Seal, as well as its benefits for organizations and researchers.
Attendance to the seminar is free of charge, but registration is required through the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_E8K_qjlDSQ6FUUcI4PpamA
HRS4R at IBSAL
The Institute of Biomedical Research of Salamanca (IBSAL) obtained the European Seal of Excellence in Human Resources in Research “HR Excellence in Research” in 2019. Since then, it has launched an Action Plan aimed at implementing improvements in the management of human resources in research and in the implementation of the criteria of the European Charter for Researchers, which also involves aspects related to ethics, open science, gender equality, among others.
This Action Plan has a compliance period of five years, after which the European Commission will visit the IBSAL to verify the degree of implementation of the Action Plan and certify the accreditation of the organization for an additional period of time.
The IBSAL will have to face this reaccreditation by the end of 2024.
