IBSAL 2026 Mentoring Program
The IBSAL Mentoring Program connects experienced professionals with individuals who are in the early stages of their research careers or going through a career transition.
It provides a private, structured, and confidential space to reflect, set goals, and make decisions with greater clarity.
What is it?
A professional development initiative based on mentor–mentee relationships.
A mentor provides support, listens, and offers perspective. A mentor does not evaluate or make decisions on behalf of the mentee.
It is based on trust, confidentiality, and mutual learning.
Who It's For
Mentees
- Ph.D. candidates, postdocs, and residents with a research background
- Emerging Researchers
- Other profiles in career transition or professional development
Active participation and commitment are required.
Mentors
Professionals with experience in:
- Research, industry, or scientific management
- Innovation, Technology Transfer, or Entrepreneurship
- Leadership, Communication, or Digital Health
They bring experience, perspective, and support.
