Citizen participation mechanisms
Citizen's Commission
The IBSAL Citizens’ Commission is a participatory body that connects biomedical research with society.
Its functions are:
- Incorporate the perspectives and needs of the public to ensure that research has a social impact.
- Encourage the participation of non-scientific individuals and organizations in all phases of research.
- To promote dialogue between science and society, fostering a culture of science and responsible innovation.
IBSAL research dissemination projects aid plan to society
An annual call for proposals that provides funding for projects organized by civic associations and foundations, with the goal of disseminating research conducted within the framework of IBSAL to the general public through activities aimed at the public.
