In-Person Course: “LATEST Course on Laparoscopic Exploration of the Common BileDuct”
Objective:
The overall objective is to learn about, acquire, and gain a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of laparoscopic cholecystectomy with surgical exploration of the biliary tract.
Specific objectives:
Knowledge of the surgical anatomy of the extrahepatic and accessory biliary tract.
Review of the scientific evidence regarding single-stage surgical treatment of choledocholithiasis.
Knowledge of screening and clinical practice guidelines for the management of choledocholithiasis.
Knowledge of intraoperative diagnostic methods for choledocholithiasis.
Knowledge of materials, surgical techniques, clinical scenarios, and new technologies for laparoscopic exploration of the common bile duct. Acquisition of the technical skills needed to implement the technique at their referral hospitals.

In order to successfully complete the course and receive the relevant certificate, it is necessary to complete 80% of the total program.

Enrollment in the course will be carried out in strict order of enrollment (in courses with high demand, preference will be given to IBSAL personnel), according to the agreement of the IBSAL Training Commission.
