DESCRIPTION:In-Person Course: “LATEST Course on Laparoscopic Exploration of the Common BileDuct” \n  \nObjective: \nThe overall objective is to learn about\, acquire\, and gain a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of laparoscopic cholecystectomy with surgical exploration of the biliary tract. \n  \nSpecific objectives: \nKnowledge of the surgical anatomy of the extrahepatic and accessory biliary tract. \nReview of the scientific evidence regarding single-stage surgical treatment of choledocholithiasis. \nKnowledge of screening and clinical practice guidelines for the management of choledocholithiasis. \nKnowledge of intraoperative diagnostic methods for choledocholithiasis. \nKnowledge of materials\, surgical techniques\, clinical scenarios\, and new technologies for laparoscopic exploration of the common bile duct. Acquisition of the technical skills needed to implement the technique at their referral hospitals.  \n  \nDate: \nThursday and Friday\, May 15 and 16\, 2025. \n  \nLocation: \nSalamanca University Healthcare Complex\, Salamanca\, Spain \nSchool of Medicine\, University of Salamanca\, Salamanca\, Spain  \n  \nProgram: \nPOSTER \n  \nEnrollment:   \nREGISTRATION: \n(NOTE: HUS personnel not affiliated to IBSAL are advised to register through the GESTION@ training application). \nThe pre-registration deadline is Thursday\, May 9\, 2025. Please register individually through our website: \nIn order to successfully complete the course and receive the relevant certificate\, it is necessary to complete 80% of the total program. \nPlease note that you will only be considered enrolled in the course once you receive the confirmation email\, as there is a limit of 5 spots. \n  \nMethod of selection: \nEnrollment in the course will be carried out in strict order of enrollment (in courses with high demand\, preference will be given to IBSAL personnel)\, according to the agreement of the IBSAL Training Commission. \n  \n
