Science Tailored to Your Needs

“Science Made Simple ” is a public outreach program about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

This event serves as a presentation of the project“Cooperation and Technology Transfer for the Development of a New Precision Medicine Platform for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis,”Cross-3DTool-4ALS, a research initiative led by the University of Coimbra, the University of Salamanca, the Institute of Neurosciences of Castile and León (INCYL), the Institute for Biomedical Research of Salamanca (IBSAL), and the University Healthcare Complex of Salamanca (CAUSA).

It is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI Spain-Portugal Program (POCTEP) 2021–2027.

Its goal is to improve our understanding of this disease through more realistic cellular models in order to advance the development of new therapies.
