The Spanish Foundation for Hematology and Hemotherapy (FEHH), recognizing the need to continue making progress in this area, is announcing the third edition of its clinical research grant program, with the aim of supporting the advancement of scientific knowledge in topics specific to the specialty. To this end, it is awarding the this edition a grant of €60,000.00 for new research projects. The maximum duration of the project is 4 years from the date of the call’s resolution. If the project has not been completed by the end of this period, a request for an extension must be submitted, justifying the reasons for the extension.

Wanted:

  • To promote research in the field of hematology and hemotherapy conducted in Spain.
  • To promote and support research projects of scientific excellence in hematology and hemotherapy.

Requirements:

  • SEHH Cooperative Groups.
  • Clinical and basic researchers conducting research in hematology in Spain. When the project is submitted by a cooperative or working group, the group must attach a certificate confirming that the work has been reviewed and approved within the group.
    To be eligible, the principal investigator (PI) and the co-principal investigator (if any) must have been members of the SEHH for at least 5 years and must be current in their SEHH dues as of the call’s closing date.

How to apply

The required documentation must be submitted exclusively through the online system, accessible on the SEHH website.

  • Completed and signed grant application form.
  • A photocopy of the valid national ID card or passport of the researcher and, if applicable, the co-principal investigator, who is proposed for the contract for which the grant is being requested.
  • Standardized Curriculum Vitae of the researcher and co-PI, if proposed for the contract, in accordance with the FECYT format (https://cvn.fecyt.es/).
  • Cooperative or work group certificate: You must attach a document that describes and approves the work carried out within the group.
  • A proposal for the research project you wish to undertake, completed online and uploaded in PDF format in accordance with the guidelines of this call for proposals.
