Continuing Education Program in NASOSINUSAL Inflammatory Diseases—Castile and León
Objective:
To provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary for the comprehensive management of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis and severe nasal polyps that are not controlled by conventional therapies.
Specific objectives:
- To understand the diagnostic criteria for severe chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps and the criteria for initiating biologic therapy
- Understand the specific mechanism of action, dosage, and safety and adverse effect profiles of each biologic drug.
- Establish a treatment strategy, incorporating biologics into the current treatment algorithm.
- Identify the criteria for response to treatment with biologic drugs.
- Theoretical foundations, practical application, and interpretation of olfactometry with clinical applications.
