In-Person Course: “A Practical Introduction to Microscopic Image Analysis with Fiji/ImageJ”

 

Objective:

The overall objective of the course is to provide students and researchers with the knowledge and skills necessary to process and analyze microscopy images using the FIJI/ImageJ software.

 

Specific objectives:

  • Understand the basic and advanced features of the ImageJ/FIJI software.
  • Understanding the Basics of Scientific Digital Imaging
  • Acquire the skills to design digital image quantification protocols: object analysis, counting and morphology, and labeling and colocalization analysis.

The registration deadline is Monday, July 3, 2025, or until all spots are filled, whichever comes first. You can register individually through our website.

In order to successfully complete the course and receive the relevant certificate, it is necessary to complete 80% of the total program.

Each student must bring their own computer.

Enrollment in the course will be carried out in strict order of enrollment (in courses with high demand, preference will be given to IBSAL personnel), according to the agreement of the IBSAL Training Commission.
