4th Conference on Rheumatic Diseases with Renal Involvement
Objective:
To update the knowledge of professionals involved in the management of systemic vasculitides with renal involvement, incorporating advances in pathophysiology, diagnosis, emerging therapies, and a multidisciplinary approach involving nephrology, rheumatology, and immunology.
Specific objectives:
- To review the immune mechanisms involved in the various forms of systemic vasculitis and their impact on kidney involvement.
- Identify the most relevant renal and extrarenal manifestations for early diagnosis and comprehensive patient follow-up.
- To analyze the recurrence of vasculitis in kidney transplantation, its incidence, and preventive strategies.
- To learn about new treatment options, including biologics and complement inhibitors, and their impact on prognosis.
- To promote collaboration and clinical communication among the departments involved in the diagnosis and treatment of systemic vasculitides.
- To promote hands-on learning through the interactive analysis of a real clinical case.

In order to successfully complete the course and receive the relevant certificate, it is necessary to complete 80% of the total program.

Method of selection:
Enrollment in the course will be carried out in strict order of enrollment (in courses with high demand, preference will be given to IBSAL personnel), according to the agreement of the IBSAL Training Commission.
