In-Person Course: “Second Course on Minimally Invasive Breast Surgery”
Objective:
To provide healthcare professionals with structured training to acquire knowledge, gain an introduction to, and receive hands-on training in Minimally Invasive Breast Surgery (MIBS), incorporating theoretical content.
Specific objectives:
• To provide theoretical and practical training in single-port endoscopic mastectomy with pneumoperitoneum, as well as in other minimally invasive techniques applicable to breast surgery, with a focus on their use in real-world clinical practice.
• Train participants in patient selection and inclusion/exclusion criteria, preoperative planning, preparation of the necessary instruments and technology, and understanding the essential surgical steps.
• Establish a safety and standardization framework that allows for a controlled learning curve, supported by audiovisual materials, demonstrations, discussions of clinical cases, and practical tools (checklists and recommendations), thereby facilitating gradual implementation at the participant’s home institution.

In order to successfully complete the course and receive the relevant certificate, it is necessary to complete 80% of the total program.
