Share in:

On November 5 and 6, 2026, the 18th Symposium on the Biological Basis of Cancer and Therapeutic Innovation will be held, a conference focused on advances in cancer treatment and new therapeutic strategies that contribute to the development of more personalized oncology.

The program will address the personalized cancer treatment from a global perspective, combining roundtable discussions focused on the most common clinical entities with educational lectures on current topics. In addition, significant time will be set aside for discussion and the exchange of knowledge among participants.

The symposium is aimed primarily at medical oncologists, medical residents, researchers in translational oncology teams, and students in their final years of medical school and graduate programs. In addition, its content offers an opportunity for continuing education and training for professionals in the pharmaceutical industry.

The initiative includes seeking sponsorship from the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM), ASEICA, ACLO, and the ECO Foundation, as well as the inclusion of the event in SEOM’s +MIR program, which is aimed at residents and young attending physicians.
