Purpose of the Call for Proposals
The purpose of this call for proposals is for the Scientific Foundation of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (hereinafter, the Foundation) to award grants to high-quality cancer research projects related to the strategic areas identified by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (hereinafter, the Association): palliative care, epidemiology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology, carried out under the supervision of a principal investigator. These projects must be conducted entirely in Spain and must be strategic projects for the Association and for cancer patients.
This call for proposals is designed for research projects led by a principal investigator. In exceptional cases and when duly justified, the participation of another principal investigator with an associated budget will be accepted. For collaborative projects, we recommend consulting the call for proposals “Grants for General Projects; Collaborative Category.”
