Essential Requirements

• Hold Spanish nationality or that of any Member State of the European Union, or any nationality that, pursuant to international treaties entered into by the European Union and ratified by Spain, is applicable to the free movement of workers. Foreign nationals of any nationality who are legally residing in Spain and who also hold a valid work permit may also apply for this call for applications.
• Be at least 18 years old and not have exceeded the minimum retirement age. For degrees obtained abroad, you must apply to the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports for recognition.
• Individuals with a disability rating of 33% or higher may participate in this selection process on an equal footing with other applicants; this circumstance must be indicated on the application.
• Hold a degree from : a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or Biomedicine, along with an official master’s degree related to biomedical research, molecular biology, molecular medicine, or related fields.
• Be enrolled in a doctoral program.

Responsibilities

• Receipt, identification, processing, storage, and traceability of biological samples.
• Preparing samples and performing laboratory techniques in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Conducting and supporting the cellular and molecular biology techniques required for the project.
• Support with flow cytometry techniques, cell separation, and microscopic characterization as needed.
• Participation in quality control procedures, as well as the recording, review, and organization of experimental results.
• Database management and maintenance, and basic analysis using computer tools and scientific software.
• Contribution to reports, presentations, scientific communications, and project documentation.
• Coordination with the research team and participation in training and scientific activities related to the project.
