The “Salamanca Biomedical Research Institute – Royal Academy of Medicine” Award for the best innovative work in health sciences conducted in 2026 by medical and non-medical professionals affiliated with the Salamanca Biomedical Research Institute (IBSAL).
Award
The prize consists of €1,000 and a certificate.
Presentation
To submit an entry, the candidate for the award must send the work and the relevant documentation (CVN and 3 copies of the work, along with an electronic copy. In the case of multiple authors, informed consent from all authors must be provided for the submission of the work to the award) for evaluation, along with detailed information on the project’s current status.
The documents should be sent to the Academy’s email address, ramsa@usal.es.
The documentation must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. on November 15, 2026.
Evaluation
The judging panel, composed of four Full Members of the RAMSA, will issue its final evaluation based on the following criteria: the originality of the innovation—which may be basic, clinical, educational, managerial, etc.; its impact; other aspects that the committee deems relevant regarding the merits demonstrated by the author, provided that they are related to the innovation.
