The AECC 70% Survival Challenge aims to support a multidisciplinary and multi-regional research projectthat brings together researchers and healthcare professionals from at least five Spanish autonomous communities, and that addresses an unmet clinical need for cancers with a survival rate below 50%, prioritizing those for which the clinical approach has not achieved significant advances in the last 10 years. This grant will be endowed with up to 10 M€ and a duration of 5 to 7 years.

How to apply
Applications must be submitted through the application platform in two phases: pre-proposal and full proposal.
Documents required during the pre-proposal phase:
- Applicant’s ID card/passport:
- Preliminary scientific proposal with:
- Letters of Commitment for International Collaborations.
- A letter signed by the coordinator(s) explaining the public-private partnership.
Collaborations or agreements with companies and institutions necessary for the implementation of the project.
- Letter of commitment from the coordinating institution(s).
- A letter of commitment from the coordinator(s) pledging to devote at least 25% of their time to leading the program.
- Resume(s) of the coordinator(s) (using FECYT’s CVA online editor or the organization’s Word template).
