JARED (Joint Action on REspiratory Diseases)

Abstract

The JARED project, spearheaded by Prof. Dr. Ildiko Horvath from the National Koranyi Institute of Pulmonology, Hungary is designed to significantly mitigate the impact of chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs) within Europe. It uniquely combines innovative digital health technologies, improved access to diagnostic tools, and enhanced health literacy efforts to effectively address and manage CRDs. This initiative is grounded in a collaborative approach, engaging a wide array of healthcare stakeholders to promote preventive strategies and reduce the overall burden and mortality rates associated with these diseases. By focusing on the integration of environmental and lifestyle factors, the project aims to offer a holistic solution to CRDs.
