SUMMARY:EASD Albert Renold Travel Fellowship Programme
DESCRIPTION:Características\nThe EASD Albert Renold Travel Fellowships enable scientists and clinicians to travel and stay at other institutions in order to learn specific techniques or clinical skills required for the advancement of their diabetes research project and not available at their home institution. \nThe home and/or the host institution must be based in Europe or a Europe-associated country (for detailed country list\, please see here)\, both must be non-profit and each must be in a different country. Applicants must be employed at their home institution during their award. \nThe duration of the stay may be up to 3 months. The requested amount for each Fellowship could be for up to Euro 10\,000. \nRequisitos:\n\nApplicants must be early-career scientists or clinicians\, within 7 years of completing their most recent degree (PhD\, MSc\, or MD) as of 1 January in the year the fellowship is awarded. Eligibility may be extended for duly justified career breaks. Fellows may not hold a permanent appointment.\nThe home and/or host institution must be based in Europe or a Europe-associated country; both must be non-profit\, and each must be in a different country. Applicants must be employed at their home institution during the award.\nSuccessful applicants must travel within nine months of receiving the award.\nFunds cannot be used to finance part of a longer stay.\nAwardees may not receive a second fellowship within two years of their award.\nApplicants must be paid-up EASD members.\n\nCómo se solicita\nApplications must be submitted through the EFSD portal by 12:00 midday (CET) on the deadline date 2nd November 2026.
