The <strong>purpose<\/strong> of the grant is to fund a <strong>research project, with <\/strong>a budget of<strong> \u20ac12,000 and<\/strong> a maximum duration of <strong>three years.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Applicant Profile<\/h3>\n<p>Applicants must be professionals in <strong>pediatric cardiology or <\/strong>specializing in <strong>congenital heart disease<\/strong>, <strong>cardiac surgery<\/strong>, or <strong>nursing<\/strong> who have been members of the SECPCC for at least one year (except in the case of medical residents) and who are current with their membership dues.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Applications<\/h3>\n<p>Applications for the scholarship must be submitted through the platform available on the Society&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menudoscorazones.org\/\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be accompanied by the following documentation:<br \/>\n&#8211; Photocopy of the Specialist Physician\u2019s Degree or University Diploma.<br \/>\n&#8211; Document certifying membership in the SECPCC (request from the Secretariat).<br \/>\n&#8211; Proposal for the research project or training stay, as established in Rule 5.<br \/>\n&#8211; Certificate from the director of the center selected to carry out the research project, confirming that it meets the necessary conditions for the project.<br \/>\n&#8211; Informed consent(s) (including, where applicable, that of the mature minor).<\/p>\n<p>The report will consist of the following sections:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Curriculum Vitae of the principal investigator and co-investigators or fellowship candidate, using the standard form. (FECYT CVA form) <\/li>\n<li>TITLE, ABSTRACT in Spanish, CURRENT STATUS OF THE PROBLEM, and BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES (maximum 3 pages).<\/li>\n<li>HYPOTHESIS AND OBJECTIVES (maximum 1 page).<\/li>\n<li>DESIGN (to include the tasks to be performed by each team member) (maximum 2 pages).<\/li>\n<li>MATERIALS AND METHODS (maximum 2 pages).<\/li>\n<li>TIMELINE for Achieving Objectives (1 page).<\/li>\n<li>SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL RELEVANCE of the research or benefits of the training placement.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed BUDGET of expenses, which may include: Contracting\/Subcontracting; Training sessions on clinical\/analytical techniques; Consumables; Inventory items; Insurance, if any; Outreach and publication expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Dissemination plan: presentations at national and international meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Approval from the Ethics and Research Committee of the institution where the project will be conducted.<\/li>\n<li>Attachments (maximum 2 pages).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Deadlines<\/h3>\n<p>The deadline for the SECPCC Secretariat to receive applications is <strong>11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2026<\/strong>.
