Objectives<\/h3>\n

The Contigo Foundation Against Women’s Cancer is announcing the 4th CONTIGO Esther Balletb\u00f3 Fellowship<\/strong><\/a>, with the primary objectives of promoting clinical and\/or translational research in the field of gynecological cancers and fostering the leadership of researchers who carry out their essential work in Spain.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Amount<\/h3>\n

The 2026 Esther Balletb\u00f3 \u201cContigo\u201d Scholarship offers a grant of \u20ac80,000,<\/strong> which will be awarded to the best clinical and\/or translational cancer research project focused on gynecological tumors.<\/p>\n

\u2014 The project budget must not exceed \u20ac80,000. However, if the awardee requires additional funding, the Contigo Foundation will authorize the Research Center to seek and obtain other sources of funding for the development of the proposed project. <\/p>\n

\u2014 With regard to indirect costs, it is stipulated that these must be included in the total budget.<\/p>\n

\u2014 The percentage of indirect costs will be determined by the research center where the winning project will be carried out.<\/p>\n

Deadlines<\/h3>\n

The call for proposals opens on May 4, 2026<\/strong>, and research proposals must be submitted by July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Requirements and Documentation<\/h3>\n

To be eligible for the Contigo Scholarship, we recommend that you read the guidelines<\/a> carefully. If you meet the eligibility requirements, please fill out the two forms attached below and email them along with the rest of the documentation requested in the guidelines by the specified deadline. <\/p>\n

Research proposals must be submitted by July 31, 2026:<\/p>\n

\u2022 On May 4, 2026, the call for proposals will open, along with the deadline for submitting proposals; this information will be shared on the website and social media channels of the Con go Foundation Against Women\u2019s Cancer.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The deadline for submitting proposals is July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u2022 In mid-September 2026, the winner will be notified of the jury\u2019s decision, and the decision will be made public.<\/p>\n

\u2022 On October 6, 2026, the CONTIGO Esther Balletb\u00f3 Fellowship award will be presented to the principal investigator of the winning proposal during the charity dinner organized by the Contigo Foundation in Barcelona. The principal investigator\u2019s attendance is mandatory. <\/p>\n
