Theoretical or empirical projects will be considered that propose a genuine dialogue between two or more of these disciplines, with the aim of improving our understanding of the brain, moving beyond monodisciplinary paradigms, proposing original answers to the mind-brain problem, discuss and anticipate the main ethical challenges of neuroscience, or address specific topics commonly discussed in interdisciplinary forums, such as consciousness, subjectivity, or free will. Particular consideration will be given to thesis projects that clearly and substantively align with the following lines of research:  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"item\">\n<ul>\n<li>Cognition and Subjective Experience in Non-Clinical Contexts<\/li>\n<li>Implications of the Non-Clinical Use of Neurotechnologies for Global Health<\/li>\n<li>Sociocultural, Ethical, and Institutional Dimensions of Neurotechnology<\/li>\n<li>Differences between human intelligence and \u201cartificial intelligence,\u201d between the biological and the synthetic<\/li>\n<li>Studies on Consciousness<\/li>\n<li>The Relationship Between Art and Neuroscience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Duration and Funding<\/h3>\n<p>The initial duration of the fellowship is <strong>one year<\/strong>, renewable for equal periods up to a maximum of four years, subject to a satisfactory evaluation of the work plan and the submission of the corresponding progress reports.<\/p>\n<p>The financial award for the fellowship will be in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 of Law 14\/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology, and Innovation, and Royal Decree 103\/2019, of March 1, which approves the Statute of Pre-doctoral Research Staff in Training, consolidated text (last amended: January 11, 2023), and will consist of <strong>33,000 euros<\/strong> gross annually for the first two years. In the third and fourth years, the amounts will be <strong>35,000 and 36,000 euros<\/strong> gross, respectively. <\/p>\n<p>The funding includes the intern&#8217;s gross pay and the Social Security contributions to be paid by the hiring entity.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text-block animblock animate__fadeIn animate__animated animate__slow animate__delay-05s\">\n<div class=\"item\">\n<div class=\"img\">\u2014 People of any nationality may apply for this call for applications.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"item\">\n<div class=\"img\">\u2014 As of the application deadline, applicants must meet the admission requirements for an official doctoral program at a Spanish university, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 576\/2023 or current regulations.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>For the purposes of this call for applications, <strong>a \u201chost university or institution\u201d<\/strong> is defined as the Spanish institution where the recipient will sign the pre-doctoral contract and complete their doctoral dissertation. When the research is conducted at a center other than the university where the applicant is enrolled, that center shall assume the obligations that these guidelines assign to the host university. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"item\">\n<div class=\"img\">\u2014 Applicants must demonstrate a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"item\">\n<div class=\"img\">\u2014 Applicants must have been admitted or provisionally admitted to the department or research center where they intend to complete their doctoral dissertation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"item\">\n<div class=\"img\">\u2014 Thesis advisors must hold a Ph.D. and have a civil service or employment relationship as a faculty member or researcher with a Spanish university or research center, and must maintain that relationship throughout the entire duration of the fellowship.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Applications<\/h3>\n<p>Applications must be submitted as a single PDF document that includes the following information:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Thesis proposal ( <\/strong>maximum 4 pages). The proposal must specify the background, objectives, activities to be carried out, and timeline. It is mandatory to provide details of the funded research project(s) in which the fellow would be involved, including a commitment from the principal investigator that the necessary resources will be made available to the fellow to carry out the thesis work.  <\/li>\n<li><strong><em>The <\/em>applicant\u2019s<em>complete resume <\/em><\/strong>. Please specify the grade point average for both the bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees (calculated on a 0\u201310 scale), as well as the level of English proficiency and other relevant qualifications. <\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Abbreviated curriculum vitae <\/em>of the thesis advisor ( <\/strong>maximum 4 pages). Include contact information, professional details (including the employment relationship with the institution where the thesis work will be conducted), experience in supervising doctoral students, research projects funded in the last 7 years, number of six-year tenure periods, up to ten relevant publications with impact factors, and any other merits the supervisor deems appropriate to include. <\/li>\n<li><strong>A copy of your bachelor&#8217;s or master&#8217;s degree certificate or proof that it is being processed.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital copy of the complete academic transcript, including <\/strong>undergraduate and graduate studies<\/li>\n<li><strong>A digital copy of <\/strong>both sides <strong>of the <\/strong>applicant<strong>&#8216;s national ID card <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A copy of the admission or pre-admission document from the department or research center where <\/strong>you intend to complete your doctoral dissertation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Submission Format and Deadline<\/h3>\n<p>Applications must be submitted exclusively through the platform set up for this purpose at the following link:  <a href=\"https:\/\/fundaciontatianapgb.eu-1.smartsimple.eu\/s_Login.jsp\">www.fundaciontatiana.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submitting applications is <strong>May 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m<\/strong>.
