href=\"https:\/\/itemas.org\/nueva-convocatoria-del-premio-fundacion-pfizer-al-mejor-proyecto-de-innovacion-en-salud-surgido-de-las-unidades-y-unidades-asociadas-de-la-plataforma-itemas-isciii\/\">ITEMAS<\/a> Platform and the Pfizer Foundation are announcing the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/ibsal.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/BASES-PREMIO-ITEMAS-FUNDPFIZER.pdf\">Pfizer Foundation Award for the Best Health Innovation Project<\/a><\/strong>, aimed at recognizing and supporting innovative initiatives developed in hospitals and health research institutes affiliated with ITEMAS\u2019s Units and Associated Units.<br \/>\nThe call for proposals aims to promote projects with the potential to impact the National Health System (SNS), particularly those focused on:<br \/>\n\u2022 Facilitating the diagnosis of diseases.<br \/>\n\u2022 Improve treatment adherence.<br \/>\n\u2022 Promote information, monitoring, and understanding of medical conditions.<br \/>\nPriority will be given to projects with a minimum level of technological maturity equivalent to<strong> TRL 5<\/strong>, especially those that already have a <strong>prototype or pilot test<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIn addition to institutional recognition, this call for proposals represents an opportunity to highlight innovative projects with the potential for real-world implementation and scalability in the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n<p>Projects that meet the following criteria are eligible to participate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They must be led by professionals from hospitals or health research institutes affiliated with ITEMAS.<\/li>\n<li>In the case of Affiliated Units, please have the signed membership agreement on hand before submitting your application.<\/li>\n<li>Please present innovative solutions with the potential to impact the National Health System (SNS).<\/li>\n<li>Ideally, you should have a prototype or pilot test.<\/li>\n<li>Be aligned with one of the objectives of the call for proposals:\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnosis<\/li>\n<li>Therapeutic Adherence<\/li>\n<li>Information and Knowledge About Diseases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Assessment Criteria<\/h3>\n<p>Applications will be evaluated based on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alignment with the call&#8217;s objective.<\/li>\n<li>Potential impact on the National Health System.<\/li>\n<li>Feasibility and Future Implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Scalability.<\/li>\n<li>Innovative and disruptive nature.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration or integration with other ISCIII platforms (SCReN, Biomodels, and Biobanks).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Prize Amount<\/h3>\n<p>The winning project will receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A cash prize of <strong>\u20ac4,000<\/strong> awarded by the Pfizer Foundation.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to apply for a scholarship for a <strong>2-week stay in Boston<\/strong> as part of Richi Social Entrepreneurs\u2019 international immersion program, valued at \u20ac10,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The visit will allow the team to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Connect with the international health innovation ecosystem.<\/li>\n<li>Develop the project&#8217;s development strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Gain access to mentors, contacts, and specialized knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The scholarship does not cover travel, lodging, or living expenses.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the finalist projects will receive support from the Pfizer Foundation to increase their visibility within the innovation ecosystem through participation in events and outreach activities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Submission and Application Deadline.<\/h3>\n<p>The application deadline is <strong>June 19, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You will need to provide:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ibsal.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/ANEXO-1_2026.docx\">Appendix 1<\/a>:<\/strong> Nomination for the Pfizer Foundation Award.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To begin the process, we
