Requirements<\/h3>\n
The main eligibility criteria are:<\/p>\n
Applicant Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u2014 Researchers or physician-researchers of any nationality.<\/p>\n
\u2014 They must lead or be capable of leading an independent research group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\u2014 A solid academic background, with relevant publications and valued international experience.<\/p>\n
Education and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u2014 Hold a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\u2014 Having achieved research independence within the last:<\/p>\n
\u2014 10 years<\/strong>, extendable to 13 years for women<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\u2014 Additional extensions of the eligibility period may be granted for justified reasons (maternity, paternity, illness, etc.).<\/p>\n
Receiving center:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u2014 The project must be carried out at a research institution in Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\u2014 The center must commit to providing the appropriate environment (infrastructure, institutional integration, etc.).<\/p>\n
Other relevant aspects:<\/strong><\/p>\n\u2014 International experience<\/strong> will be viewed favorably.<\/p>\n\u2014 A significant level of commitment to the funded project is expected.<\/p>\n

Duration and Funding<\/h3>\n
Projects will have a maximum duration of five years<\/strong>, with the possibility of a free extension of up to twelve months. Funding is granted for an initial period of three years and may be renewed for two additional years, provided that a favorable midterm evaluation is conducted after the second year. <\/p>\nThe maximum grant will be \u20ac400,000,<\/strong> distributed in annual installments of up to \u20ac80,000.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
