{"id":25010,"date":"2026-01-14T08:42:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T06:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibsal.es\/evento\/aes-2026-juan-rodes-contracts-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-01-14T08:42:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T06:42:15","slug":"aes-2026-juan-rodes-contracts-2026","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/ibsal.es\/en\/evento\/aes-2026-juan-rodes-contracts-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"AES 2026 &#8211; Juan Rod\u00e9s Contracts 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Purpose<\/h3>\n<p>The purpose of this initiative is, on the one hand, to hire medical staff with experience in health sciences and technologies research at the public healthcare centers that are part of the IIS, and, on the other hand, to provide grants for the creation and filling of the resulting permanent position at those centers once the grant period has ended.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of these contracts is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase the critical mass of medical staff who combine clinical care and research activities to strengthen the capacity to translate knowledge into patient care and to generate research hypotheses based on clinical practice.<\/li>\n<li>Promote patient- and population-oriented research through knowledge transfer activities.<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to the strengthening of the research component in the professional careers of National Health System (SNS) staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c;\">Requirements<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Requirements for applicants:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"convocatoria_apartado_contenido\">\n<p>Only <strong>Health Research Institutes (IIS) accredited<\/strong> by Ministerial Order may be beneficiaries of this type of Juan Rod\u00e9s Contract.<\/p>\n<p>The IIS may submit applications on behalf of research groups belonging to any of the institutions that are signatories to the Agreement establishing the IIS.<\/p>\n<p>Healthcare services must be provided by public healthcare entities and institutions <strong>engaged in clinical care<\/strong>: hospitals, primary care centers, and other healthcare facilities not included in the preceding categories that hold a healthcare operating license issued by the competent authority.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"convocatoria_apartado_titulo_segundo_nivel\"><strong>Candidate requirements:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"convocatoria_apartado_contenido\">\n<p>Individuals who meet the following requirements are eligible for this program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hold an official degree in a<\/strong> medical <strong>specialty<\/strong> (MIR), pharmacy (FIR), or an official certificate of specialization in biology (BIR), chemistry (QIR), Biochemistry, Psychology (PIR), Nursing (EIR), or Hospital Radiophysics (RIR). Degrees obtained abroad must be properly recognized or accredited. <\/li>\n<li>Hold a <strong>doctoral degree<\/strong> and either have completed the <strong>R\u00edo Hortega program<\/strong> or be currently holding a <strong>2023<\/strong><strong> or 2024<\/strong> <strong>AES<\/strong> R\u00edo Hortega Contract as of the application deadline. If the candidate has completed a <strong>postdoctoral fellowship abroad<\/strong> with a continuous duration of at least two years, it is not necessary to have completed or be currently participating in a R\u00edo Hortega Contract.
