To train healthcare professionals to assess potential victims of gender-based violence in a hospital setting and to raise awareness of the resources available for comprehensive care.<\/p>\n

Specific objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Understand the concept of gender-based violence, its determinants, causal factors, patterns, and possible courses of action.<\/p>\n

Understand the ethical and legal considerations, as well as the social and health resources available in VG<\/p>\n

Distribute the SACYL clinical guidelines, the CAUSA protocol, and the BPSO guidelines on abuse of women.<\/p>\n

Develop the skills and abilities needed to identify cases of gender-based violence and provide an effective response.<\/p>\n
