{"id":6759,"date":"2025-01-09T13:10:03","date_gmt":"2025-01-09T13:10:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibsal.es\/ibsal-analyzes-coara-criteria-in-research-evaluation\/"},"modified":"2025-03-10T17:30:12","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T17:30:12","slug":"ibsal-analyzes-coara-criteria-in-research-evaluation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibsal.es\/en\/ibsal-analyzes-coara-criteria-in-research-evaluation\/","title":{"rendered":"IBSAL analyzes COARA criteria in research evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Pastora Mart\u00ednez Samper, Commissioner for International Action of the Universitat Oberta de Cataluya (UOC) and member of the working group of the Spanish chapter of COARA will give an online talk on this topic on January 23rd at 13.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>On January 23rd at 13.00 a new online seminar of the cycle dedicated to the European Human Resources in Research Seal (HRS4R) will take place, which will address the evaluation of research and how adjustments are being made so that this evaluation is harmonized with international standards such as the application of the COARA (Coalition for the Advancement of Research Assessment) criteria.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The objective will be to explain how these criteria are being adapted and how the Spanish chapter is approaching the changes involved at the evaluation level, as well as the steps taken so far and those to be taken in the future.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Pastora Mart\u00ednez Samper, Commissioner for International Action of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and member of the working group of the Spanish chapter of COARA, will be present.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>To attend this training it is necessary to register at the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_6SdUgdNMSYqfBKSAQmk-Dw\">https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_6SdUgdNMSYqfBKSAQmk-Dw<\/a><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ibsal.es\/undefined\"><\/a><strong>HRS4R at IBSAL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Institute of Biomedical Research of Salamanca (IBSAL) obtained the European Seal of Excellence in Human Resources in Research &#8220;HR Excellence in Research&#8221; in 2019. Since then, it has launched an Action Plan aimed at implementing improvements in the management of human resources in research and in the implementation of the criteria of the European Charter for Researchers, which also involves aspects related to ethics, open science, gender equality, among others. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>This Action Plan has a compliance period of five years, after which the European Commission will visit the IBSAL to verify the degree of implementation of the Action Plan and certify the accreditation of the organization for an additional period of time.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The IBSAL will have to face this reaccreditation by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n\n<p>More information: <a
