Castilla y Le\u00f3n and the University of Salamanca joined forces to create and develop this center through a collaboration agreement.  <br><br>One year later, on February 10, 2012, we strengthened our structure with the inclusion of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) as a new collaborator.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div services research. With 43 medical specialties, 799 beds, 31 operating rooms and modern facilities dedicated to teaching and research, the CAUSA has established itself as a reference in healthcare in Castilla y Le\u00f3n. <br><br>In 2023, CAUSA registered more than 31,000 admissions, 21,000 surgeries and 576,000 outpatient consultations, in addition to attending 150,000 emergencies. These results position it among the best hospitals in Spain and as a leader in Castilla y Le\u00f3n.
