health sciences and technologies, through the completion of a doctoral thesis in the context of the SNS, with the aim of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote the start of professional careers by incorporating young researchers into the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation System.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage the participation of research personnel who carry out healthcare activities in the NHS.<\/li>\n<li>To promote patient- and population-oriented research through transfer activities, framed within a specific and novel project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #003c8c\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Applicant requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The centers indicated below in which the researchers who <strong>obtained funding as principal investigators of individual projects<\/strong> or <strong>coordinators of coordinated or multicenter projects<\/strong> in the call<strong> 2024 of the AES<\/strong> within the modality of <strong>R&amp;D&amp;I projects in health,<\/strong> as well as <strong>international collaboration projects<\/strong>, may be beneficiary entities of the PFIS Contracts modality:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health research institutes accredited by ministerial order (IIS).<\/li>\n<li>Public health entities and institutions with clinical assistance activities.<\/li>\n<li>Public health entities and institutions without a health activity license, but with demonstrable R+D+I activity in the area of knowledge of Public Health.<\/li>\n<li>Private healthcare entities and institutions, with a healthcare activity license, linked or contracted to the SNS.<\/li>\n<li>The OPIs (Public Research Organizations).<\/li>\n<li>Public universities and private universities with proven R&amp;D capacity and activity.<\/li>\n<li>Other public R&amp;D, research and knowledge dissemination centers and research infrastructures, with their own legal personality, linked to or dependent on the General State Administration or the rest of the Public Administrations and their agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Public and private non-profit entities that carry out and\/or manage R&amp;D activities, generate scientific or technological knowledge or facilitate its application and transfer.<\/li>\n<li>Public consortia and state public consortia with R&amp;D&amp;I activities in Biomedicine or Health Sciences and Technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Other health administration units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">PI requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Principal Investigators (PI) in the AES 2024 call for proposals must participate in this call for proposals as group leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Each group leader may present a maximum of one candidate for the completion of his or her doctoral thesis.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of projects funded through AES 2024 with two Principal Investigators, only one of them may present a candidate for the project.<\/p>\n<p>All proposals submitted for this type of contract must fall into one of the following <strong>categories of research groups<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Groups led by researchers born in 1980 or later<\/strong>, with a scientific production that allows considering that they have the potential to become highly competitive groups, which must present differentiated and innovative proposals for action, which do not involve a fracture of pre-existing groups.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>usual groups of this modality<\/strong>, which must comply with the general conditions established in the different sections, without any other specific conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Group leaders<\/strong> who are directing the activity of PFIS and i-PFIS predoctoral researchers with an active contract granted and corresponding to the 2022, 2023 and 2024 calls of the AES, or group leaders who are carrying out a R\u00edo Hortega or Sara Borrell Contract, <strong>are not eligible to apply as group leaders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications submitted by the same group to the two AES predoctoral modalities (PFIS and i-PFIS) will not be eligible.<\/p>\n<p>A minimum of 10% of the contracts to be awarded will be reserved for applications whose group leaders are <strong>active Miguel Servet and Juan Rod\u00e9s<\/strong> contractors, provided that they obtain a favorable evaluation of their application.<\/p>\n<p>The civil servant, statutory or labor relationship of the group leaders with the applicant entity must be maintained at least until the publication of the final award decision.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Candidate requirements:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Candidates must be enrolled in an officially accredited doctoral program for the 2024-2025 academic year or admitted or pre-admitted to a doctoral program for the 2025-2026 academic year at a Spanish university, which may be accredited after the application and until the end of the allegations period.<\/p>\n<p>The following are <strong>not<\/strong> eligible to be candidates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have begun their pre-doctoral training with funding from other grants for pre-doctoral training through the development of a doctoral thesis that has been awarded under the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation or any of the previous State Plans.<\/li>\n<li>Hold a <strong>doctorate<\/strong> degree from any Spanish or foreign university.<\/li>\n<li>To have enjoyed, prior to the presentation of the application, a pre-doctoral contract for a period of more than twelve months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How to apply<\/h3>\n<p>The form of presentation of the application and other documentation will be exclusively through the ISCIII&#8217;s electronic headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>The application forms will only require the signature of the legal representative of the applicant entity, who will collect the signatures of the rest of the interested persons (candidates and principal investigators), taking responsibility for their custody and veracity.<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be accompanied by the following documentation:<\/p>\n<p><strong>They form an integral part of the application and may not be upgraded retrospectively:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abbreviated Curriculum Vitae (CVA) in Spanish or English, automatically generated from the <a href=\"http:\/\/cvn.fecyt.es\/editor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FECYT curriculum editor<\/a> of the group leader and the candidate.<\/li>\n<li>Proposal report, in Spanish or English, using the standardized model corresponding to LEIS 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, the applications must be accompanied by (documentation that can be corrected)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of valid passport, only in the case of foreign citizens not residing in Spanish territory.<\/li>\n<li>Document accrediting enrollment and payment, admission or pre-admission to a doctoral program at a Spanish university, issued by the unit responsible for that program, or by the doctoral or graduate school, if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible declaration signed by the candidate, in a standardized model, which accredits:\n<ul>\n<li>Not having benefited, prior to the submission of the application, from a grant awarded under the PEICTI 2024-2027 or any of the previous State Plans for pre-doctoral training through the development of a doctoral thesis.<\/li>\n<li>He is not in possession of a doctorate degree.<\/li>\n<li>Not having held a pre-doctoral contract for more than twelve months prior to joining the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Document signed by the director of the IIS certifying the membership of the research group, when applicable.<\/li>\n<li>In the case of having completed a Specialized Health Training Program (hereinafter referred to as ESF) abroad, an ESF diploma approved or recognized by the competent body.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting documentation of the selected publications if they are not open
