The Mutual M\u00e9dica Foundation, through its Impulsar(me) program, is announcing a new call<\/a> for applications for the Mutual M\u00e9dica Research Grant, intended for resident physicians who are in their final year or who have completed their residency within the last three years. The research must have potential applications in clinical practice.<\/p>\n The purpose<\/strong> of the scholarship is to support young researchers<\/strong>, where \u201csupport\u201d means helping young professionals bring to fruition research projects with the potential to bring about change, especially at the most challenging time: at the beginning of their medical careers.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Through this scholarship, the Mutual M\u00e9dica Foundation supports physicians who are in their final year of the MIR program or who have completed their residency within the last three years. Requirements<\/h3>\n
\n\u2014 At the time of applying for the scholarship, the candidate must be in their final year of residency, or must have completed it this year or in one of the three preceding years, from 2023 to 2025.
\n\u2014 The research proposal must include the title of the project, the name of the fellow, the primary and secondary objectives, the research hypothesis, the materials and methodology to be used, as well as the relevance and potential clinical implications of the research.
\n\u2014 The work must be completed within a maximum of two years from the date the first grant is awarded.
\n\u2014 Members of the Board of Directors of Mutual M\u00e9dica and the Board of Trustees of the Mutual M\u00e9dica Foundation, as well as their family members, are not eligible for the scholarship.<\/p>\nDocumentation<\/h3>\n

\n\u2022 A certificate from the Director of Labor attesting to the candidate\u2019s qualifications, stating the Director\u2019s commitment to monitor the candidate\u2019s progress, and verifying that the work can be completed within a period of 2 years.
\n\u2022 A certificate from the director of the center or institution where the research is to be conducted, confirming acceptance of the proposed work and stating that the technical capabilities necessary for its completion are available.
\n\u2022 A document from the Clinical Research Ethics Committee of the relevant accrediting institution stating its approval, if the study involves the participation of patients.
