The goal of the postdoctoral<\/strong> fellowships under the<\/strong> European Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) program<\/strong> is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of young PhD graduates who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training and international, cross-sectoral, and interdisciplinary mobility.<\/p>\n The program also encourages researchers to work on research and innovation projects in the non-academic sector and is open to those who wish to return to Europe, those displaced by conflict, and high-potential researchers seeking to resume their research careers.<\/p>\n Grants are awarded to outstanding researchers undertaking international mobility, whether to or between EU Member States or countries associated with Horizon Europe, as well as to non-associated third countries. Applications must be submitted jointly by the researcher and a beneficiary organization from either the academic or non-academic sector. <\/p>\n There are two categories:\u201cEuropean Fellowships\u201d<\/a>and \u201cGlobal Fellowships.\u201d <\/em> <\/p>\n The \u201c MSCA<\/strong> European Fellowships<\/strong> \u201d<\/em> actions are aimed at researchers of any nationality who wish to undertake a <\/em>A project lasting 12 to 24 months at a European institution. Candidates <\/strong>may come from outside Europe or go to a European country other than the one they are currently in.<\/p>\n Secondments<\/strong> may be undertaken within the total duration of the grant in any country in the world. This secondment phase may take place as a single period or be divided into several shorter periods of mobility. <\/p>\n In the case of European Postdoctoral Fellowships, stays may not exceed one-third of the requested duration of the action (excluding from that duration any additional period allocated to a stay in the non-academic sector) and must be aligned with the project\u2019s objectives, providing significant added value and impact to the grant.<\/p>\n In addition to these placements, ” placements in companies” ( placements in the non-academic sector<\/em> ) may be considered.<\/strong> A placement of up to 6 months in a business sector institution may be undertaken, always at the end of the grant period, and provided it is included in the application phase.<\/p>\n The call for proposals has a budget of 233.44 million euros for this type of grant.<\/p>\n Resubmission<\/strong>: Researchers who participated in the 2024 MSCA-PF call and received a score below 70% may not resubmit the same proposal through the same institution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Proposals are submitted electronically through the Funding and Tender Portal ( <\/a> select “Start submission”).
