SUMMARY:Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) Research Grants
DESCRIPTION:Features\nThe Sarcoma Foundation of America Research Grants support researchers conducting preclinical\, translational\, and clinical research on the etiology\, molecular biology\, pathogenesis\, diagnosis\, and treatment of human sarcomas. This program supports research and promotes awareness and advocacy for sarcoma patients and their families. The goal of the SFA grant program is to support research that leads to improved treatment options for sarcoma patients. The SFA encourages applications from ALL areas of sarcoma research.    \nThe total award amount is $75\,000 for one year. The grants are awarded on an annual basis from July 1\, 2027\, to June 30\, 2028. SFA encourages applications in ALL areas of sarcoma research from U.S. and international applicants.   \nRequirements:\n\nApplicants must hold an MD\, DO\, PhD\, or international equivalent—whether in the U.S. or abroad—and possess the skills\, knowledge\, and resources necessary to carry out the proposed sarcoma research;\nOnly one applicant may be designated as the principal investigator (PI) for each grant. The PI is responsible for the overall management\, coordination\, and oversight of the research\, including all deliverables; \nApplications from researchers outside the U.S. must be able to provide a budget and accept funds in U.S. dollars;\nReturning SFA principal investigators and organizational grantees must comply with all previous SFA grant deliverables\n\nHow to apply\nThe SFA Research Grant Program is a two-stage process. All applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI). Only the highest-ranked LOIs will be invited to submit full applications.   \nThe deadline for submitting the Letter of Intent is November 6\, 2026\, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
