SUMMARY:Let's breathe! Dissemination of respiratory physiotherapy as a treatment for cerebral palsy.
DESCRIPTION:The project “Let’s breathe! Dissemination of respiratory physiotherapy as a treatment for cerebral palsy” aims to disseminate respiratory physiotherapy as an adjunctive treatment in cerebral palsy\, highlighting its benefits to improve the quality of life of those affected. Through accessible materials and a training day\, it seeks to raise awareness and train both professionals and family members and caregivers in the application of these techniques.  \nThis project is supported by the Association of People with Cerebral Palsy of Salamanca (ASPACE)\, the ASPACE Salamanca Foundation and the Neurorehabilitation research group of IBSAL. \nObjectives\n\nTo disseminate the benefits of respiratory physiotherapy in adult patients with cerebral palsy.\nTo train professionals in respiratory physiotherapy techniques for their application in the clinical setting.\nTo train family members and caregivers\, providing them with safe tools to apply on a daily basis.\nPromote the implementation of respiratory physiotherapy programs in associations and foundations throughout Spain.\nTo promote cooperation between IBSAL\, ASPACE Salamanca and the ASPACE Salamanca Foundation.\nEstablish common criteria for intervention with respiratory physiotherapy at the national level.\n\n  \nMore details coming soon.
