SUMMARY:Call for Research Grants 2025. ASISA Foundation-European University of Madrid Chair
DESCRIPTION:Purpose\nThe purpose of this call for proposals is to promote R&D&I activities in the field of biomedical and health sciences research under the auspices of the Chair established between the ASISA Foundation and the European University of Madrid (UEM). \nThe purpose of this call for proposals is to regulate the procedure for awarding\, in a transparent\, objective\, and competitive manner\, financial grants for the implementation of outstanding health-related research projects\, within the framework of the ASISA Foundation Chair in Health Sciences. \n  \nAmount and Duration\nThe call for proposals has a total budget of €12\,000 and will fund projects up to a maximum of €6\,000 (including VAT) per approved project. \nThe projects will be led by a principal investigator\, who will be responsible for carrying out the proposed activities; they must be completed within one calendar year starting from the month following notification of the grant award\, with the deadline for disseminating the results extended to two calendar years. \n  \nRequirements  \nThis call for proposals\, which seeks to select research projects in various thematic areas within the field of health\, is open to outstanding research groups composed of both researchers with proven and extensive experience and young researchers of recognized standing who lead research projects either individually or in collaboration with other research groups. \nAll universities and entities whose statutes or activities recognize research as a core function and purpose are eligible to apply for and receive grants under this call for proposals.\nIndividuals with research capabilities who are on the staff of the applying entities may submit projects as researchers\, directors\, or those responsible for scientific and technical implementation. \nThe principal investigator of the project must meet the following requirements:\n– Hold a doctoral degree.\n– Be employed by the applying institution and be on active duty.\n– Have research experience in the fields covered by the call for proposals.\n– Have successfully met the objectives if they have previously received Chair Grants in prior calls for proposals. \n  \nEligible Projects for Funding\nThe following items will be eligible for funding:\n– Consumables and inventory items.\n– Payments to other entities for the use of services necessary for the research.\n– Staff hired under the project or research fellows.\n– Expenses related to scientific publication (up to 15% of the total amount requested). \nIndirect costs will not be funded. \n  \nSubmission of Applications\nApplications must be submitted by the project’s principal investigator and must include the following documentation: \n– Application form with all sections duly completed\n– Resumes for all members of the research group\, using any of the standard formats (e.g.\, CVN\, CVA\, FECYT\, ANECA…).  \nAny questions should be sent via email to the following address: catedra.asisa@universidadeuropea.es \nAll applications must be submitted by completing the online form available at https://forms.office.com/e/Rn6m0dQXWT?origin=lprLink and attaching the required documentation (CVs of all researchers): \n  \nSubmission Deadline\nThe application period begins on September 8\, 2025\, at 9:00 a.m. and ends on September 26\, 2025\, at 3:00 p.m.   \n  \nHelp Page\nThe complete information can be viewed and downloaded from  https://universidadeuropea.com/conocenos/catedra-fundacion-asisa-universidad-europea/ \n  \n  \n  \n
