SUMMARY:4th Annual Esther Balletbó "Contigo" Scholarship - CONTIGO Foundation Against Women's Cancer
DESCRIPTION:Objectives\nThe Contigo Foundation Against Women’s Cancer is announcing the 4th CONTIGO Esther Balletbó Fellowship\, with the primary objectives of promoting clinical and/or translational research in the field of gynecological cancers and fostering the leadership of researchers who carry out their essential work in Spain. \n  \nAmount\nThe 2026 Esther Balletbó “Contigo” Scholarship offers a grant of €80\,000\, which will be awarded to the best clinical and/or translational cancer research project focused on gynecological tumors. \n— The project budget must not exceed €80\,000. However\, if the awardee requires additional funding\, the Contigo Foundation will authorize the Research Center to seek and obtain other sources of funding for the development of the proposed project.  \n— With regard to indirect costs\, it is stipulated that these must be included in the total budget. \n— The percentage of indirect costs will be determined by the research center where the winning project will be carried out. \n  \nDeadlines\nThe call for proposals opens on May 4\, 2026\, and research proposals must be submitted by   July 31\, 2026\, at 11:59 p.m. \n  \nRequirements and Documentation\nTo be eligible for the Contigo Scholarship\, we recommend that you read the guidelines carefully. If you meet the eligibility requirements\, please fill out the two forms attached below and email them along with the rest of the documentation requested in the guidelines by the specified deadline.  \nResearch proposals must be submitted by July 31\, 2026: \n• On May 4\, 2026\, the call for proposals will open\, along with the deadline for submitting proposals; this information will be shared on the website and social media channels of the Con go Foundation Against Women’s Cancer. \n• The deadline for submitting proposals is July 31\, 2026\, at 11:59 p.m. \n• In mid-September 2026\, the winner will be notified of the jury’s decision\, and the decision will be made public. \n• On October 6\, 2026\, the CONTIGO Esther Balletbó Fellowship award will be presented to the principal investigator of the winning proposal during the charity dinner organized by the Contigo Foundation in Barcelona.
