DESCRIPTION:Classroom course: \n100 PANCREAS TRANSPLANTS AND 100 KIDNEY TRANSPLANTS FROM LIVING DONORS AT THE CAUSA AND 4TH TRAINING MEETING ON FOLLOW-UP AND COMPLICATIONS IN KIDNEY TRANSPLANT PATIENTS\, PANCREAS-KIDNEY\, AND LIVER-KIDNEY TRANSPLANTS \nObjective: \nExpand training in kidney transplantation from deceased and living donors\, as well as pancreas-kidney and liver-kidney transplants. Analyze the results and identify areas for improvement.  \nSpecific objectives: \n\nTo review the results of our community’s kidney transplant program\, including transplants from deceased donors\, living donors\, pancreas-kidney transplants\, living-donor transplants\, and liver-kidney transplants.\n\n  \n\nCurrent criteria for inclusion on the waiting list for pancreas-kidney and isolated pancreas transplants at CAUSA\, surgical technique\, complications\, and endocrinological follow-up.\n\n  \n\nCurrent Status of Living-Donor Kidney Transplantation in Castile and León\, the Laparoscopic Living-Donor Harvesting Procedure\, and Changes to the Surgical Technique in 2024.\n\n  \n\nAn Update on the Treatment of Cytomegalovirus Infection/Disease in Kidney Transplantation.\n\n  \n\nNew Non-Immunosuppressive Therapies in Kidney Transplantation\n\n  \n\nDelisting and Immunological Monitoring in Outpatient Care for Patients at Very High Immunological Risk\n\n  \nDATE:   \nTuesday\, April 29\, 2025. \n  \nLocation: \nArt Gallery\, Fonseca School. \nProgram: \n  \nEnrollment:   \nREGISTRATION: \n(NOTE: HUS personnel not affiliated to IBSAL are advised to register through the GESTION@ training application). \n  \nThe pre-registration deadline is Thursday\, April 22\, 2025; you must register individually through our website. \n  \nIn order to successfully complete the course and receive the relevant certificate\, it is necessary to complete 80% of the total program. \n  \nPlease note that you can only be considered registered for the course when you receive the confirmation email\, as there is a limit to the number of places available. \n  \n  \nSELECTION METHOD: \n  \nEnrollment in the course will be carried out in strict order of enrollment (in courses with high demand\, preference will be given to IBSAL personnel)\, according to the agreement of the IBSAL Training Commission. \n  \n  \n  \nIBSAL TRAINING
