Research focus:

  • Study the telomere length in male adults with acute coronary syndrome and its relationship with clinical and genetic variables.
  • Describe the ischaemic heart disease in Spain: DIOCLES study.
  • Analyse the efficacy and safety of antitachycardia pacing in patients with ICD.
  • Study the different molecules involved in the origin and development of endothelial dysfunction and damage to target organs (heart, vessels, kidneys) in patients with hypertension or diabetes.
